OUMH1203: ENGLISH FOR WRITTEN COMMUNICATION

SEMESTER: SEPTEMBER 2004

COURSE ASSIGNMENT

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.                Your assignment should be typed in A4 portrait format using 12 font size and

  1.5 line spacing, and should be between 2,000-2500 words, excluding

   references, footnotes, endnotes and illustrations.

2.                  Please note that this is a formal essay written in the academic style.

3.                  Your assignment will be evaluated according to your ability to select evidences

   to support the arguments as well your clarity in presentation.

4.                  Your assignment must be submitted to your tutor along with ‘Borang

   Permarkahan Tutor’ before/on the forth tutorial.

5.                  The assignment carries 20% of your total course marks.

6.                  All essays must be your original work. Plagiarism in all forms is forbidden.

             Students who submit plagiarised assignment will be disqualified. Also students

             who copy from each other will be penalised.
